التفكير بالمقلوب هو التفكير بالعكس أو بالمقلوب!

ومن أمثلة ذلك مايلي :
1- إذا كانت عقارب الساعة تتحرك من اليسار إلى اليمين فلماذا لايتمّ التفكير بساعة إبداعية تتحرك عقاربها من اليمين إلى اليسار (وقد حدث ذلك بالفعل!)
2- إذا كان الشاي يصنع ويباع دائماً وهو ساخن فلماذا لانفكّر بشاي يصنع ويباع بارداً (وقد حدث ذلك بالفعل!)
3- إذا كانت السيارات تصنع للرجال فلماذا لا يتمّ صنع سيارات خاصة للأطفال أو النساء
4- إذا كان المرضى يذهبون إلى الأطباء للعلاج فلماذا لايحدث العكس , وذلك بأن يأتي الأطباء إلى المرضى (وذلك يحدث بالفعل!)
5 - كان الحبر في السابق يوضع خارج الأقلام (في المـحبرة)، أماالحبر اليوم فهو داخل الأقلام
6 - حدائق الحيوان في معظم أنحاء العالم تكون فيها الحيوانات محبوسة في أقفاص والناس أحراراً يتجولون ، فجاء بعض المبدعين وفكرّوا بالمقلوب

7- الطلاب يذهبون إلى المدرسة، عندما تعكسه تقول: المدرسة تأتي إلى الطلاب، وهذا ما حدث من خلال الدراسة بالإنترنت والمراسلة وغيرها
